Ghalia Gargani

Ghalia Gargani is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in project management and government engagement, currently serving as a Projects and Engagement Expert at the Prime Minister's Office in the UAE since May 2022. Prior to this role, Ghalia held various senior positions at Expo 2020 Dubai, including Deputy Head of Product Design and Experience, where Ghalia oversaw a budget exceeding AED 50 million and ensured visitor satisfaction through strategic product delivery. Ghalia previously worked at the Mohammed Bin Rashid School of Government, leading initiatives to improve gender equality rankings in the UAE and implementing educational programs in collaboration with international partners. Ghalia's early career included roles focused on development and fundraising at institutions like the Mediterranean School of Business, The American University in Cairo, and the Egyptian Center for Women's Rights. Ghalia holds a Master’s degree in Sociology and Anthropology with a focus on Gender and Citizenship, and a Bachelor's degree in Sociology, both from The American University in Cairo.
