Ammar Gharaybeh is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in public administration and civil engineering. Since February 2020, Ammar has been self-employed as an advisor/consultant. Prior to this role, Ammar served as Secretary General for both the Ministry of Public Works and Housing and the Ministry of Transport in Jordan from December 2016 to January 2020 and May 2015 to December 2016, respectively. Ammar's experience also includes advising for the Prime Ministry from January 2012 to May 2015 and chairing the Amman Municipal Council from May 2006 to January 2012, where Ammar held the position of City Manager. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Ohio University and an MBA in Business Administration from NYIT.
