Brandt Montgomery

Brandt Montgomery is an experienced maritime professional currently serving as Sr. DPO/Mate at Prime Ocean since December 2020, where responsibilities include DP watch standing, ballast management, and compliance oversight. Prior to this, Brandt held various positions at Noble Drilling from February 2011 to August 2018, including Chief Mate and Senior DPO, focusing on rig operations and safe passage planning. Brandt also gained valuable experience as a Second Mate at Masters, Mates, and Pilots and AHL, and as a Second/Third Mate at US Shipping, responsible for safety systems and emergency response. Brandt's educational background includes a B.S. in Marine Transportation from California State University Maritime Academy and a Chief Mate license from the Maritime Institute of Technology and Graduate Studies.
