Alec Jones

Alec Jones is an experienced Product Line Manager at Prime Photonics LC since November 2016, overseeing Applications Engineering, Sales, and Customer Service for the FOCIS Fiber Optic Probe product family. Previously, Alec served as a Mechanical Engineer, focusing on the design and engineering of FOCIS blade health monitoring systems and managing manufacturing operations. Prior to joining Prime Photonics, Alec worked as a Manufacturing Engineer Technician at InMotion US LLC, where responsibilities included preventative maintenance development and PLC troubleshooting. Alec's career began as a Manufacturing Engineering Co-Op at Kollmorgen, engaging in toolmaking and lean manufacturing initiatives. Alec holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Virginia Tech, completed in 2016.
