Vegim Shala

Vegim Shala has work experience as a Data Engineer at PRIME | Retail & Trade Solutions since February 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Raiffeisen Bank Kosova, starting as a Data Warehouse Intern in July 2020 and progressing to roles such as Junior Data Integration Specialist, Data Integration Specialist, and Senior Data Engineer. Vegim'slatest role at Raiffeisen Bank Kosova ended in February 2022.

Vegim Shala completed their Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Universiteti i Prishtinës "Hasan Prishtina" from 2017 to 2020. Before that, they attended Sami Frasheri from 2014 to 2017, where they studied Natural Sciences.

Vegim is currently pursuing a Master of Science (MS) degree in Data Engineering and Analytics from the Technical University of Munich, starting in 2022.

In terms of additional certifications, Vegim obtained various certifications in IT-related fields. In 2018, they participated in a Tech Workshop at the University of Prishtina Venture Incubator, acquiring skills in data types, string operations, conditionals, loops, and data structures. In 2014, they obtained the CCNA Routing and Switching: Scaling Networks certification from the American University in Kosovo Training and Development Institute. In the same year, they also earned the CCNA Discovery certifications in "Working at a small-to-medium business or ISP" and "Networking for home and small businesses." Additionally, Vegim obtained the IT Essentials: PC Hardware and Software certification in 2013 from the same institution.
