David Michael

David Michael has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and industries. David is currently working as a DevOps Engineer at ConvergeOne, starting in August 2022. Prior to this, they held positions at EMC Insurance Companies, where they served as a Platform Engineering Manager from January 2022 to August 2022, and as a Senior Platform Engineer from June 2020 to January 2022. Before that, David worked at Meredith Corporation, where they held the role of Director - Consumer Platform Operations from July 2018 to June 2020. David also served as a Manager - Digital Operations and a Web Hosting System Administrator during their tenure at Meredith Corporation, starting in 2017 and ending in July 2018. Earlier in their career, David worked at the Iowa Association of School Boards as an IT Specialist from August 2008 to December 2009, and at the Newton Community School District as an IT Manager from August 2007 to August 2008.

David Michael attended Central College from 2003 to 2007, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Information Services. In addition to their formal education, they have also earned certifications in AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in November 2020 and AWS Certified Developer - Associate from AWS in January 2019.
