Layak Mohammed is a data architect with extensive experience modernizing data platforms by moving and maintaining them in the cloud. Known by colleagues as the “go to” problem solver, he excels at helping customers address and overcome pain points with innovative cloud solutions that deliver a positive ROI. Prior to joining Prime TSR, Layak worked with Amazon Web Services (AWS) where he helped Amazon’s customers overcome cloud migration issues. He is an AWS Certified Solutions Architect with 10 years of experience as a database architect/infrastructure project lead for Tate & Lyle, a London-based global provider of ingredients and solutions for food, beverage, and industrial markets; and as a database administrator for companies like Deutsche Bank, Kaplan Financial, Express, and Polaris Laboratories. Layak holds an MS in electrical and computer engineering from NYIT and a BS in electrical engineering from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University in India. He’s married with two children.
