Joerie van Sister

Joerie van Sister is an experienced professional in quality assurance, project management, and cultural heritage consultancy. Currently serving as Team Lead and Scrum Master at Prime Vision since May 2021, Joerie has been instrumental in establishing a new scrum team while enhancing software testing processes. In parallel, Joerie has been a consultant, manager, and presenter for Novitas Experience since January 2016, aiding museums in project management and specialized consultancy on Roman military equipment. As co-founder and COO of Novitas Heritage from March 2016 to March 2021, Joerie focused on gamifying heritage through interactive exhibitions. A background in educational re-enactment as an ArcheoTolk at Archeon and ownership of Museum Escape further highlights Joerie's dedication to engaging audiences with history. With a Master's degree in Classical and Mediterranean Archaeology & Museum Studies from Leiden University, and extensive experience across various roles in the heritage and entertainment sectors, Joerie brings a unique blend of expertise in archaeology, project management, and interactive design.
