Taotao Ding has been working in the technology field since 2013. taotao began their career as a student at Northeastern University. In 2015, they joined Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) as an Information Security Analyst, where they worked on RT tickets system to provide security suggestions and service to users, generated reports based on Splunk log, and generated Dashboards to show failed login of VPN and generate statics of users’ failed login. In 2016, they joined Primeon, Inc. as an Engineering Project Manager, Application Security Tech Lead, and Software Engineer.

Taotao Ding obtained a Master's degree in Computer and Information Systems Security/Information Assurance from Northeastern University from 2013 to 2016. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in the same field from Harbin Engineering University from 2009 to 2013. Additionally, they have obtained two certifications: CompTIA Security+ ce Certification from CompTIA in June 2022, and GIAC Web Application Penetration Tester (GWAPT) from GIAC Certifications in September 2018.
