Zin Wai Yan

Zin Wai Yan is a seasoned data science and AI professional with extensive experience in software development and user experience enhancement. As Chief Data Scientist and Product Manager at Tee Htwin since March 2022, Zin has led collaboration with developers and managed UX research teams. As Co-Founder of Primer International since March 2024 and previously serving as NLP Research Fellow at GENI Technology, responsibilities have included focusing on Generalized Pretrained Models and technical report writing. Zin has also worked as a Machine Learning Engineer at Amnick Social Enterprise and as an AI Research Engineer at Myanmar Information Technology Pte Ltd, where deep learning applications in banking and FinTech were emphasized. Additional roles have encompassed statistical analysis and deep learning research across various sectors, with proficiency in Rust, Python, and Modular Mojo, specializing in sensitive data governance and responsible machine learning practices. Education includes ongoing studies at Chulalongkorn University and previous academic foundation at the University of Helsinki and Yangon University of Education.
