Orlando Solís

Orlando Solís has a diverse and extensive work experience. Orlando is currently serving as the Chief Revenue Officer at Primera Base since May 2023. Orlando is also an independent Board Member and Business Strategy & Digital Transformation Consultant since March 2023.

Prior to their current roles, Solís worked at Xertica, where they held multiple leadership positions. Orlando served as the Managing Director of the Salesforce Practice from June 2022 to March 2023. Before that, they were the CEO of Xertica from January 2021 to June 2022. Orlando also served as the Salesforce Practice Regional Director from August 2020 to January 2021 and as the Innovation Director from January 2019 to January 2021.

Solís started their career at BLEIN Consulting, where they worked as a Senior Partner from January 2005 to December 2018. Orlando also worked at MGT Consultoria as a Consultant from January 2001 to February 2005.

Orlando Solís has a diverse education history. Orlando earned their Executive MBA from IPADE between 2008 and 2010. In 2010, they attended the University of California, Berkeley for the Leading through Innovation Executive Program, where they focused on opportunity recognition, the Silicon Valley ecosystem, and Venture Capital Fundamentals. In 1997, they received their degree as an Ingeniero Industrial y de Sistemas from Tecnológico de Monterrey. In 2014 and 2015, they became a certified facilitator of The Challenger Sale through the CEB Sales Effectiveness Council, specializing in solution selling. Additionally, in 2000, they participated in an exchange program at the University of Essex, studying Industrial Engineering and Business Management. Orlando also holds several certifications, including Business Transformation with Google Cloud from Coursera, GCP Consulting Services from Google, and Tableau Partner Sales Accreditation from Tableau Software.
