Kris Salvatera, P.E.

Kris Salvatera, P.E. has a strong background in civil engineering, specifically in the aviation sector. They began their career in 2011 as a Traffic Engineer Intern at the City of Berwyn. From 2012 to 2022, Kris worked at Crawford, Murphy & Tilly, Inc. as a Civil Engineer, specializing in aviation projects. During their time there, they worked on various airport projects in the Midwest and gained experience in airport planning, design, permitting, construction cost estimation, and inspection services. Kris also has experience in highway transportation and civil site designs, working with agencies such as the Illinois Tollway, Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT), Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT), and local county projects. In April 2022, Kris joined Primera Engineers as an Aviation Civil Engineer, focusing on civil engineering projects as part of the O'Hare 21 capital improvement plan and General Aviation Airport projects with the Illinois Department of Transportation - Division of Aeronautics.
