Andrew Colella

Vice President of Software Engineering at PrimeRevenue

Andrew Colella has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Andrew started their career as a Graduate Research Assistant at the GT Music Technology Department in August 2010 and worked there until June 2011. In September 2011, they joined Emory University as a Professor/Instructor for MUS 367, Computer Music Composition, where they taught various topics related to music technology and machine learning. From May 2011 to February 2015, they served as a Violist for Janelle Monae at Wondaland Arts Society. In November 2012, Andrew joined PrimeRevenue as a Software Engineer, eventually moving up to the positions of Senior Software Engineer, Lead Software Engineer, and then Director of Data Analytics. Currently, they hold the role of Vice President of Software Engineering at PrimeRevenue, starting in May 2022.

Andrew Colella began their education at Ithaca College, where they obtained a Bachelor of Music (BM) degree in Composition/Viola Performance from 2003 to 2005. Andrew then continued their studies at the University of Rochester - Eastman School of Music, earning a Bachelor of Music (B.M) degree in Composition/Viola Performance from 2005 to 2008. Andrew furthered their education by pursuing a Master of Science (M.S) degree in Music Technology; Engineering and Computer Music Research at the Georgia Institute of Technology from 2009 to 2011.
