Dennis Lockhart

Mr. Lockhart served as the 14th head of the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta for 10 years, a tenure that ended in February 2017. Mr. Lockhart was responsible for all Bank activities and served on the Federal Open Market Committee (FOMC). Prior to that, Mr. Lockhart was on the faculty of Georgetown’s School of Foreign Service and was an adjunct professor at Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies. Mr. Lockhart also held senior executive positions at leading private equity firms and Citigroup. Mr. Lockhart holds a B.A. from Stanford University and a Master’s from Johns Hopkins.
