Alexander Reiter

Alexander Reiter is currently a Developer for Sensor Systems at Primetals Technologies, a position held since October 2023. Prior to this, Alexander served as the Head of Predevelopment at Trotec Laser GmbH from August 2020 to September 2023, where responsibilities included establishing the new Predevelopment area, implementing an agile development process, leading research and development projects, and coordinating technology scouting efforts. Alexander's academic background includes a Doctorate in Technical Sciences (Mechatronics) from Johannes Kepler Universität Linz, alongside various roles in research and teaching at the same institution, and experience as a Visiting Researcher at KU Leuven, as well as work as a FEM Engineer. Areas of expertise include algorithmics, sensor technology, image processing, robotics, and embedded systems development.
