Steffen Tiede

Steffen Tiede has extensive experience in the steel and metals industry, currently serving as Head of CTC and Special Products at Primetals Technologies Austria GmbH since 2012, with global sales responsibility for caster technology consulting. Prior to this role, Steffen held various positions including Sales Director at Siemens VAI, leading regional sales for metallurgical components, and Head of Marketing and Product Management at RHI AG, focusing on product development for tundish linings. Earlier career roles included sales engineer positions and product management at companies such as Voest Alpine and Mannesmann Demag, where Steffen was involved in the global preparation and negotiation of proposals for continuous casting plants. Steffen's foundational education includes a Diplom-Ingenieur degree in the Technology of Steelmaking from the University of Applied Sciences, Ingenieurschule Hennigsdorf b. Berlin.
