Anna Ong

Events Director at Primetime Business and Professional Women's Association

Anna Ong believes that the shortest distance between two people is a story. She is the founder of WYSH (What’s Your Story, Huh?), a communications training company that uses Theatre, Storytelling, and Improvisation techniques. She trains leaders and teams to be mentally agile and communicate authentically with humour and empathy. She promotes the importance of fun, creativity and collaboration in the workplace.

She holds an MBA from INSEAD, a certificate in Social Impact Storytelling from Georgetown University and an associate-certified coach (ACC) accreditation from the ICF.

She left a 15-year stint in banking in Southeast Asia to pursue her interest in the performing arts including Argentine Tango, Improvisation and Storytelling in North and South America.

She moved back to Singapore in 2019 to produce “What’s Your Story Slam”, a storytelling show designed to promote the power of personal narratives.

On a constant quest for self-improvement, she believes in PrimeTime’s vision of women coming together to help each other be the best version of themselves.

Outside of work, you can usually find Anna sparring or hitting the bags at the boxing gym.
