Jaakko Salo

Jaakko Salo began their professional career in 2010 as a Warehouse Worker at ABB. Jaakko then worked as a Purchasing Trainee and later as a Sales Trainee at ABB in 2011 and 2012, respectively. In 2013, they joined ABB Oy Transformers as a Sales Trainee and later worked as a Master's thesis writer focused on the Opportunity Pipeline.

In 2014, Salo became an Area Sales Manager at ABB Oy Transformers, a role they held until 2016. During this time, they also worked as a Sales Trainee. In 2016, they joined Oy Primo Finland Ab as a Business Area Manager. Jaakko'sresponsibilities in this role included assisting companies in the energy industry with custom-made thermoplastic profiles, with a special focus on the linear LED lighting business.

Since 2021, Salo has been with Inter Primo A/S - Primo Group - Extruded polymer profiles. Jaakko started as a Senior Business Developer and later became the Business Development Team Lead, where they supported and coordinated Business Developers in focus market areas. Currently, they hold the position of Group Commercial Director at the company.

Jaakko Salo attended the University of Vaasa from 2008 to 2014, where they obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree with a concentration in industrial management from 2008 to 2012. Jaakko then pursued further studies at the same university and earned a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Economics and Business Administration, specializing in industrial management from 2008 to 2014. In 2013, they participated in an exchange program at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid, focusing on engineering.
