Animesh Ray

Advisor at Primordial Genetics

Animesh Ray is an advisor at Primordial Genetics. Animesh has also previously worked as a visiting professor at the Institute for Systems Biology, a professor and director at Keck Graduate Institute, and an associate professor adjunct at UCSD. Animesh began their career as a program director and research director at Akkadix Corporation before becoming a visiting professor at the University of Rochester.

Animesh Ray received a BSc (Hons) in Physics, Chemistry, Physiology from Presidency College, New Delhi. Animesh then completed an MSc and MPhil in Molecular Biology at Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi. Ray went on to earn a PhD in Molecular Genetics from Monash University. Animesh is currently a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in the field of Molecular Biology at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and the University of Oregon.
