Jeff Allen

Jeff Allen currently serves as the Senior Vice President of Process and Analytical Development at Primrose Bio since September 2023, following a tenure as Vice President of Protein Sciences at Ligand Pharmaceuticals. With extensive experience in analytical development and protein sciences, Jeff has previously held senior roles at Pfenex Biopharmaceuticals, including Senior Director of Analytical Development and Protein Sciences Fellow, where key contributions included oversight of analytical strategy and CMC development. Jeff's early career involved leadership positions at Dow Biopharma, focusing on bioprocess development and analytical support, and roles at Promega and the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Jeff holds a PhD in Biochemistry from Utah State University and a BS in Molecular Biology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
