Laila Halim

Laila Halim is an experienced research professional currently serving as a Senior Research Associate in Process Development at Primrose Bio since November 2024. Prior to this role, Laila worked at BPS Bioscience Inc. from September 2022 to November 2024 as a Research Associate II in Protein Science, performing routine protein purifications and quality control experiments. Laila started as a Research Associate I in Protein Science at UC San Diego from August 2020 to June 2022, also fulfilling duties as an Instructional Assistant, where lesson plans and student engagement strategies were developed. Additional experience includes a role as a Laboratory Assistant and serving as a Resident Assistant, fostering student wellness and safety. Laila began professional endeavors in the healthcare field as a File Clerk at LAKE SAN MARCOS FAMILY MEDICINE from June 2016 to July 2019. Laila holds a Bachelor of Science in Human Biology with a minor in Psychology from UC San Diego.
