Xavier Deogaygay

Xavier Deogaygay is an experienced microbiologist with a strong background in scientific research and application. Currently serving as an Associate Scientist at Primrose Bio since September 2023, Xavier previously held the position of Senior Research Associate at Primordial Genetics and served as a Scientist in Biofoundry Services at Codex DNA. Additional experience includes a role as a Masters Student at San Diego State University, a Microbiologist at Pro-Form Laboratories, and a Manufacturing Bioprocess Technician at Genentech. Xavier began a career in science as a Scribe at Scribes, LLC, and a Lab Assistant at the Western Institute for Food Safety and Security. Academic qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology from the University of California, Davis, and ongoing pursuit of a Master’s degree in Microbiology at San Diego State University.
