Urvi Athia

Urvi Athia is a dedicated education professional with extensive experience in early childhood and elementary education. Currently serving as the Owner of Primrose Schools since January 2016, Urvi has previously held roles as Program Director and Preschool Teacher at Montgomery Child Care Association from August 2012 to January 2016, where responsibilities included creating a nurturing learning environment and implementing MSDE accredited programs. Prior experience as a Teacher at the YMCA of Metropolitan Washington from February 2010 to July 2012 involved leading a K-3rd grade after school class and supervising K-6th grade classes at off-site locations. Academic credentials include an Associate's degree in Child Development & Early Childhood Education from Montgomery College and dual Bachelor’s degrees in English Language and Literature and History from York University.
