Erin Gladu is a dedicated medical student at UMass Chan Medical School, having commenced studies in August 2023 after earning a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry and History from The George Washington University in December 2021. Prior experience includes serving as a CRTA Fellow at the National Cancer Institute from April 2022 to May 2023, where research focused on the role of ADP ribosylation factors in cancer and metastasis through various biochemical techniques. Erin also contributed as an Undergraduate Research Assistant in the GWU Chemistry Department, exploring novel domains of the MID1 protein related to embryonic diseases and developing standardized protocols. Previous roles include working as a Camp Counselor for West Springfield Parks and Recreation and serving as a soccer referee for youth games across Massachusetts.
