Heather Jackson

Heather Jackson currently serves as the Area Director for West Area Branches of the Prince George's County Memorial Library System, overseeing the operations of four branches and managing a team of 50-60 staff members. With a diverse background in library services, Jackson has held various positions, including Assistant Branch Manager and Librarian III in Children's Services. In addition to library management, Jackson is an experienced freelance writer and has worked as a Success Coach, GRE/GMAT instructor, and Child Protective Services Specialist. Educational achievements include a Master of Library Science from the University of Maryland and a Bachelor of Arts in Humanities, specializing in Ethnomusicology, from the University of Texas at Austin.
