Donald G. Tye is a prominent legal professional and chair of the Domestic Relations practice group at Prince Lobel Tye LLP in Boston, where Tye has served as a partner since September 1985. Previously, Tye was a partner at Crane & Inker from September 1976 to August 1985. Tye also contributed to the judicial appointment process as a Judicial Nominating Commissioner for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts from February 2008 to July 2012. With a rich background in family law, Tye has been a member of the Family Law Curriculum Advisory Committee for Massachusetts Continuing Legal Education since 1999, and co-chaired the committee from 2006 to 2008. Tye holds a JD and a master's degree in social work from Washington University in St. Louis, along with a BA in political science from Tufts University.
