Earlier experience includes serving as Lead Patent License Counsel at Nortel Networks, Inc. from January 1998 to April 2005, where substantial patent licensing programs were developed to create significant revenue. Matthew Vella holds a JD in Intellectual Property Law from the University of Toronto Law School and a BS in Electrical Engineering from Carleton University.
