Dr. Mark Slaughter

Dr. Mark Slaughter serves as the Minister of Worship Arts at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church in Burnsville, MN, since October 2013. Previous roles include Minister of Music/Worship at First Baptist Church, where significant growth was achieved in the music ministry and choral program, and the founding of a worship planning team. Dr. Slaughter has also taught as an Adjunct Professor at Kentucky Wesleyan College, focusing on spiritual disciplines, and has held leadership positions with Worship Foundations International. Early experience includes a role as Minister of Music/Outreach at Bonsack Baptist Church, where Dr. Mark fostered growth in music ministry. Dr. Slaughter holds a Doctor of Ministry degree from Fuller Theological Seminary, a Master of Divinity from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, and a Bachelor of Music from Belmont University.
