Mary Ellen Helms

Mary Ellen Helms has accumulated work experience in multiple organizations. Mary Ellen began their career in 2007 as a Public Ally at Public Allies, where they worked until May 2008. In the same year, they joined Girl Scouts of Western Ohio as an Educational Outreach Specialist, later transitioning to a Program Services Specialist from August 2009 to May 2010. Since 2008, Mary has also been associated with Prince of Peace Lutheran Church. At the church, they have held various roles, including Lead Servant for Youth and Family Ministry and Director of Youth and Family Mission. Currently, they hold the position of Director of Care and Connection, which they started in May 2022.

Mary Ellen Helms completed their Bachelor's degree in Theology/Theological Studies from Xavier University in 2007. Before that, from 1999 to 2003, they attended Ursuline Academy-Cincinnati, although their degree and field of study during that time are unspecified. Currently, they are pursuing a Master's Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Xavier University, which they started in 2021.
