Mariam Hamanou

Mariam Hamanou, CMA, currently serves as the Manager of Budgets and Financial Planning at the Prince Rupert Port Authority, where responsibilities include the development and management of budgeting and reporting systems to align with the organization's financial goals. Prior to this role, Mariam held the position of Manager of Finance and Digital Transformation at Sinclair Dental Co. Ltd., where guidance and training were provided to the Finance Team while ensuring accurate financial data across departments. Experience also includes serving as a Senior Financial Analyst and Accounts Payable Supervisor at Lush Fresh Handmade Cosmetics North America, as well as managing Financial Planning & Analysis for the MENA Region at SOS Children's Villages International. Educational credentials include a Certification in Management Accounting from the Institute of Management Accountants and a Master’s degree in Audit and Management Control from Ecole Nationale de Commerce et de Gestion in Tanger.
