Calvin D. Farr

General Manager & CEO at Prince William County Service Authority

The Prince William County Service Authority Board of Directors has appointed Mr. Farr as the water and wastewater utility’s new General Manager, effective May 2021. Prior to his appointment as General Manager, Mr. Farr was the Director of the Department of Public Utilities for the City of Richmond, which serves more than 500,000 customers within the City of Richmond and surrounding counties. His oversight included the water, wastewater, stormwater, natural gas, and street light utilities. Prior to that, Mr. Farr served as the Assistant Commissioner of the Department of Watershed Management in Atlanta and as a Group Leader for the Washington Suburban Sanitary Commission. Mr. Farr holds an Executive Masters of Public Management from the University of Maryland, Masters of Environmental Engineering from Johns Hopkins University and Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Old Dominion University. Mr. Farr is also a licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in Virginia, Maryland and the District of Columbia.
