Bassam Alqassar, CISA has extensive experience in various roles within the field of information systems and technology. Bassam served as the Vice President of Information Systems & Technology at Princess House, where they led a team responsible for maintaining and upgrading global IT infrastructure. Bassam also worked as a Sr Director IT at Princess House, where they revamped IT strategies and processes. Additionally, Bassam Alqassar was a member of the VigiTrust Global Advisory Board, where they collaborated with key stakeholders in the security and compliance industry. Bassam also held positions at The Robert Allen Group, Hasbro, Autocrat Coffee, and NEPTCO, where they oversaw application development, system management, and programming. Bassam Alqassar brings a wealth of experience and expertise to any organization they work with.
Bassam Alqassar, CISA, holds a Master of Science (MS) degree in Computer Science from the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth. Bassam also has a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Information Technology from Johnson & Wales University and a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Accounting and Business/Management from Damascus University. In addition to their degrees, Bassam Alqassar has obtained several certifications including the Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) from ISACA in March 2017 and a Graduate Certificate in Information Assurance and Cybersecurity from Florida Institute of Technology in June 2016.
