Jon Ostendorf is the Chief Information Officer at Princeton Day School. Jon has over eight years of experience in leading all aspects of information technology for a residential, 827-acre campus with 80 facilities and nearly 1000 students, faculty, and staff. In their previous role as the Director of Information Technology Services at The Hotchkiss School, Jon managed a complex IT infrastructure with 1K computers, 80 servers and 50 terabytes of data with a $2.5M IT/technology budget.

Under Jon's leadership, the IT team at Princeton Day School has created a five-year strategic technology plan, revamped the IT organization to adopt a mission-centered and user-focused team, and spearhead multi-million-dollar information technology projects to improve the technology organization across the school. Jon has also conducted an in-depth IT risk assessment and implemented a new privacy and security policy to enhance operations across the school. In addition, they led a project to select new computers across the campus and managed contract negotiation with Apple. Jon also oversaw the highly complex rollout and transition from PCs and Macs for technology users.

Jon oversees the entire IT organization at Princeton Day School, including employee recruiting, hiring, training, development, and performance. Jon has also built strategic partnerships with campus leaders to identify opportunities to support departments in leveraging technology to meet the school's organizational mission.

Jon Ostendorf works with Anthony McKinley - Director of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion, Katherine Fay - Director of Athletics and Physical Education, and Julie Cucchi - Director of Admission and Financial Aid. Jon Ostendorf reports to Paul J. Stellato, Head of School.
