Peter Ort

Peter Ort is currently an advisor at Princeton NuEnergy. Peter has over 25 years of experience in the financial industry, including co-founding CurAlea Associates LLC, a hedge fund portfolio risk consulting and customized software company. Prior to that, they were a managing director at Karsch Capital Management, an equity long/short hedge fund, and a vice president at Smartleaf, GSAM Hedge Fund Strategies Group. Ort began their career at Goldman Sachs in 1996 as an associate in the Investment Banking Financial Institutions Group and GSAM Private Equity Group. Peter was promoted to managing director in 2001 and worked in the Automated, customized, and tax optimized portfolio management for wealth managers group until 2009. Ort is also a Fulbright Scholar, having studied abroad with The Fulbright Program from 1991 to 1992.

Peter Ort's educational career includes obtaining a JD/MBA from New York University and a BA from Duke University.
