Michael Oppold

Michael Oppold is a seasoned financial professional with extensive experience in asset management and auditing. Currently serving as the Senior Director and CFO of Principal Alternative Credit at Principal Asset Management since June 2018, Michael has also held the position of Assistant Financial Director and Financial Analyst IV within the same organization. Prior to this, Michael worked at Deloitte from August 2011 to June 2018 as an Audit Manager, where responsibilities included leading audit teams for diverse clients in the Wireless, Manufacturing, and Not-for-Profit sectors. Michael holds a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Finance from the University of Iowa, earned between 2006 and 2011.
