Mike Benson

Mike Benson is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in asset management and real estate. Since 2006, Benson has served as Managing Director of Asset Management at Principal Global Investors, overseeing a diverse portfolio of real estate holdings in major California markets and driving value through strategic lease negotiations. Previously, Benson held the role of Director of Acquisitions/Dispositions, managing both acquisitions and asset management for Southern California. Prior to joining Principal Real Estate Investors from 1996 to 2006 as Director of Asset Management, Benson worked at Bank of America as a Special Assets and Credit Analyst Manager, focusing on staff training and loan policy development. Benson earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from the University of Iowa in 1986.
