Owais Rana

Owais Rana is a seasoned investment professional with extensive experience in asset management and investment solutions. Currently serving as Managing Director and Head of Investment Solutions at Principal Asset Management since May 2022, Owais oversees a range of services including Outsourced Chief Investment Officer (OCIO) and Liability-Driven Investment (LDI) Solutions. Previous roles include Managing Director and Head of LDI Solutions at Moody's Analytics, where Owais focused on business development with institutional investors, as well as Head of Pension and Insurance Solutions at Conning, and Global Head of LDI Solutions at J.P. Morgan. Owais began the career as an Investment Consultant at Hewitt Associates.
