Yasser S Alshahrani

Yasser S Alshahrani possesses extensive experience in project management and procurement, currently serving as Principal Buyer for the Saudi Power Procurement Company since October 2022. Previously, Yasser held several leadership positions at the Government Expenditure & Projects Efficiency Authority from July 2019 to October 2022, including Vice President of Market Operations, Executive Director, and General Manager, focusing on enhancing efficiency in public projects. Yasser's earlier roles at Aramco Overseas Company and GE Power involved senior project engineering and technical advisory, ensuring project milestones were met and providing technical assistance during power plant operations. Yasser began the professional journey as a Project Engineer at ABB. Yasser holds a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical and Power Engineering from King Saud University and completed further education at the GE Energy Learning Center in New York.
