Alan Crews

Alan Crews, CFP, serves as a Senior Financial Services Representative and Financial Advisor at Principal Financial Group since July 2014. Prior to this role, Alan worked as a Financial Advisor at Ameriprise Financial from 2005 to June 2014. Alan's experience also includes teaching middle school math and science at Magellan Charter, St. Timothy's, and Carnage Middle schools from 1998 to 2004, as well as serving as a Staff Programmer and Project Planner at IBM from 1982 to 1996. Alan holds a B.S. in Computer Science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (1978-1982) and an M.S. in Education from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro (1997-1998).
