Amy Hartnett

Amy Hartnett serves as Managing Director at Principal Financial Group, leading the national business development strategy for Employee Stock Ownership Plans (ESOPs) since March 2015. Recognized as an advocate for ESOPs and Equity Compensation, Amy frequently speaks at various events. Prior to this role, Amy was with Fifth Third Bank from May 2006 to March 2015, holding positions including Director of Business Development and Vice President in the ESOP Finance Group, specializing in tailored financial solutions for various companies. Earlier experience includes a role in international relations at the Department of Regional NSW in Australia and involvement in political fundraising for the Exploratory Committee for NYC Public Advocate. Amy holds a degree from The University of Iowa Tippie College of Business and has also studied at The American University of Rome.
