Sara Giesler

Sara Giesler is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in learning and development, currently serving as the Assistant Director of Learning & Development at Principal Financial Group since September 2017. Prior to this role, Sara worked at Nationwide Insurance for over 15 years, holding several key positions including Virtual Sales Manager and NSS Account Leader for the Nationwide Sales Academy, where responsibilities included providing sales training solutions. Additional roles at Nationwide included Training Consultant, Learning and Performance Sales Specialist, and Senior Trainer for Specialty Products. Sara holds a Master’s degree in Public Administration from Drake University and has a background in education from the University of Northern Iowa and Dowling Catholic High School.
