Dr. Katie Barber is an experienced medical professional specializing in menopause and women's health. Currently serving as a member of the Medical Advisory Council for the British Menopause Society since June 2022, Dr. Barber is also the founder and clinical director of The Carriage House Clinic and Oxford Menopause, which provides private GP and menopause services in Oxfordshire. With additional roles as Clinical Lead for Community Gynaecology in Oxfordshire and a former General Practitioner at Woodlands Medical Centre, Dr. Barber has a robust background in various aspects of women's health, including previous experience as a Menopause Specialist and GP Special Interest in Urogynae at the NHS. Dr. Barber holds an MBBS from the University of Oxford and a BSc in Clinical Haematology from Imperial College School of Medicine.

“PML aims to deliver high quality community-based healthcare through an extensive network of local clinicians working together for the benefit of patients.” PML was founded in 2004 by a small group of GPs with the main aim of ensuring local NHS healthcare professionals had an opportunity to bid for, and provide, innovative healthcare services. We have a growing number of employed staff, plus service contracts with local health professionals (GPs and primary care counsellors) to deliver services in a range of NHS and surgery premises across Oxfordshire and Northamptonshire. We believe that local care providers, who know and understand the health needs of their own patients, and who are used to working collaboratively in their region, can provide the best quality and most cost effective integrated primary care services. We work to develop services we know people want and need so that patients get the best care options for their circumstances.
