Al MacIvor

Al MacIvor is an experienced engineering professional with a strong background in systems engineering and architecture. Currently serving as the Director Of Engineering at Principle One since February 2018, Al previously held positions such as Managing Director at Mu Systems Engineering Ltd and Head Of Architecture at Detica, where focus was placed on standardizing systems engineering processes. Al's extensive career includes roles as Senior Manager and SOA/BPEL architect at Detica Limited, owner of a software engineering company, and developer and architect at The Innovation Group Plc. Al holds a Master of Engineering (MEng) degree in Systems Engineering from Loughborough University, earned between 1995 and 2000.
