Alistair Lee

Alistair Lee has a diverse work experience spanning various companies. Alistair currently works as a Moorings and Cables Engineer at Principle Power since 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Offshore Renewable Energy Catapult from 2021 to 2022 as an Engineer, focusing on mooring and anchoring systems for floating wind. In this role, they collaborated with companies to validate and promote their technology.

Before that, they worked as a Naval Architect at Sustainable Marine from 2020 to 2021, contributing to projects involving inspection sketches and 3-D modeling. Alistair also worked at Offshore Renewable Energy Catapult as an Engineer from 2018 to 2020, where they gained experience in the industry.

Alistair's earlier experiences include working as an Instructor, Coach, and General Staff at Glasgow Climbing Centre from 2015 to 2018, where they developed lesson plans and facilitated group activities. Alistair also had internships as a Naval Architect at Houlder Limited in 2017, where they assisted senior engineers and worked on a research project, and at Marine Technical Limits Ltd in 2016, where they created inspection sketches and contributed to the company's integrity management system.

Alistair Lee pursued their education chronologically, beginning with their high school education at Peebles High School. Alistair attended Peebles High School from 2005 to 2012, but did not pursue a specific degree or field of study during this time.

Following their high school education, Alistair enrolled at the University of Strathclyde in 2013. Alistair spent the next five years, until 2018, completing their Master's Degree in Naval Architecture and Ocean Engineering.
