Teresa Hazel has a diverse work experience in the engineering and project management field. Teresa is currently working at Principle Power as a Portfolio Planner - Business Transformation. Prior to this, they were a Project Manager - Dams and Reservoirs at Mott MacDonald from April 2021 to September 2022. Teresa also worked at Arcadis, where they held multiple roles. Teresa was a Design Coordination & Integration Lead GS2 for the High Speed 2 Detailed Design project from March 2020 to March 2021. Teresa also served as a Marketing Director at Arcadis Chile from April 2019 to February 2020, where they focused on positioning the company and enhancing client loyalty. Additionally, Teresa worked as a Hydraulic Design Engineer at Arcadis from June 2015 to March 2019, where they gained expertise in various aspects of hydraulic design and engineering for water and mining reservoirs.
Teresa Hazel's education history begins in 2008, when they enrolled at the Instituto Superior Técnico, where they pursued a Master's degree in Civil Engineering with a specialization in Hydraulics and Water Resources. Teresa completed their studies at this institution in 2014.
In 2013, Teresa participated in an exchange program at the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, focusing on Civil Engineering with a specialization in Hydraulics and Water Resources. This program lasted for one semester.
After completing their Master's degree, Teresa attended the Universidad de Chile from 2018 to 2020. During this time, they pursued a certification known as "Revalidación Título Universitario" in Civil Engineering, specializing in Hydraulic, Sanitary, and Environmental areas.
In addition to their academic qualifications, Teresa also obtained several certifications. In 2016, they became a "Membro Efetivo" (Portuguese Chartered Engineer) through the institution Ordem dos Engenheiros. In 2019, they obtained the "Base Camp Expedition DNA" certification from Arcadis. Lastly, in November 2020, Teresa obtained the "Revalidación Título Profesional Extranjero" (Chartership/Certification University Degree) from the Universidad de Chile.
