Jay Sandhaus

Jay Sandhaus has a strong work experience in the technology field. Jay currently serves as the CTO at Rhyme, a position they have held since July 2019. Prior to this, they worked as the SVP Technology at Mobilewalla from May 2018 to July 2019.

Before joining Mobilewalla, Jay held the position of CTO at PlayOn! Sports from July 2012 to May 2018. During their time there, they built and led the technology group, successfully driving a consumer video subscription business and creating an advanced video encoding and streaming platform.

From February 2009 to August 2012, Jay worked at Turner Broadcasting as the Senior Director of Content Management and Social Media Technology, where they managed the publishing platform team for CNN.com, CartoonNetwork.com, and NBA.

Prior to their role at Turner Broadcasting, Jay served as the Director of Technology, Strategic Applications at Turner/CNN from June 2005 to February 2009. In this role, they led a team responsible for building CNN's election products, setting vision, understanding business goals, and delivering aligned products.

Jay's earlier work experience includes a role as a Senior Developer/Analyst at Goldman Sachs from February 2004 to May 2005, where they designed and built real-time trading and position analysis applications for a high-volume foreign exchange desk. Jay also worked at Sportvision as the Director of Software Development, New Media from June 1999 to May 2003, leading a software development group and creating software products for real-time sports graphics on live television.

Jay Sandhaus has a Bachelor of Arts degree in General Studies from Northern Arizona University, where they attended from 1990 to 1995. Jay also holds a Master of Science degree in Computer Science from Columbia University, where they completed their studies from 1999 to 2001.
