George Wonsley, P.E., MBA, NCSO

George Wonsley, P.E., MBA, NCSO has extensive experience in the field of electrical engineering, specifically in SCADA Automation of high voltage power systems. George began their career as an Electric Wireline Operator at Dialog Wireline, where they conducted interventions and evaluations on gas and oil wells.

In 2014, George joined EE Partners LTD as a Senior Project Engineer, where they led a team in the design, development, and implementation of SCADA Automation systems. George also performed data acquisition, analysis, and root cause analysis in collaboration with diverse teams.

After EE Partners LTD was acquired by Priority Power Management LLC in August 2019, George continued their role as a Senior Project Engineer, overseeing the design and implementation of SCADA Automation systems for high voltage power systems. George also took on the responsibility of leading a team of engineers and conducting research to resolve complex problems. In April 2021, George was promoted to a Senior Project Engineer, Lead, where they coordinated the commissioning of over $200 million worth of electrical infrastructure assets.

In August 2021, George was appointed as the Distribution Engineering Group Lead at Priority Power. In this director-level role, they focused on business development, developing proposals, and pricing strategies to drive growth in the distribution engineering business. George successfully managed projects from start to completion, ensuring their success.

George's work experience demonstrates their expertise in SCADA Automation and their ability to lead teams and solve complex problems.

George Wonsley has a strong educational background with a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Electrical Engineering from Mississippi State University, which they obtained between 2008 and 2013. In 2020, they pursued further education and completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Texas - Permian Basin.

In addition to their academic achievements, George Wonsley has obtained various certifications. George holds a Reliability Coordinator System Operator Certification (RC) from the North American Electric Reliability Corporation (NERC), which they obtained in July 2022. Furthermore, they are a certified Professional Engineer, accredited by the Texas Board of Professional Engineers.
