Matt Watson

Matt Watson has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Matt currently holds the position of Director of Dry Van Customer Operations at Priority1, a role they assumed in April 2022. Prior to this, they served as the Truckload Liaison Manager at Priority1 since January 2015.

Before joining Priority1, Matt worked at The Fleming Companies as a Sr. Key Account Manager from August 2014 to January 2015. In this role, they focused on business development and strategic accounts across the state of AR for Fleming Network & Security Services, Inc.

Before that, Matt held the position of Director Business Development at Staley Inc from January 2012 to June 2014. During their tenure, they achieved significant growth by implementing a sales strategy and increasing revenue by 16.5% in 2013. Matt also built and managed a National Sales team responsible for over 75 National Accounts, including Fortune 500 companies such as Walmart, Microsoft, Costco, Lowe's, Home Depot, and Family Dollar.

Prior to Staley Inc, Matt worked at Windstream Communications from July 2004 to January 2012. Matt started as a Director Channel Marketing and was promoted multiple times during their tenure. In this role, they managed sales and marketing relationships for various sales channels, led the integration of acquired companies, and developed compensation plans and quotas for over 900 Sales Representatives.

Matt's earlier experience includes working as a Buyer and Executive Development Program/Area Sales Manager at Dillards from March 1998 to July 2004. Matt also served as a Retail Sales Executive at Dillards from May 1997 to May 1998.

Matt began their career at First National Bank of Springdale in May 1993, where they held multiple positions, including Teller, Data Processing, Loss Prevention, and Purchasing, until May 1997.

Matt Watson completed their high school education at Springdale High School, graduating with a High School Diploma from 1990 to 1993. Following that, they attended the University of Central Arkansas from 1997 to 2001, where they obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree with a specialization in Marketing.
