Alan Slade

Alan Slade is a seasoned executive in the biopharmaceutical industry, currently serving as Senior Vice President and Global Program Head at Priovant Therapeutics since July 2025, where the focus is on leading late-phase global clinical development of brepocitinib for rare autoinflammatory and ophthalmology indications. Prior to this role, Alan held the position of Senior Vice President and Global Head of Clinical Development at ITBMed AB from January 2019 to July 2025, overseeing clinical development for specific immunomodulatory biologics. Previous experience at Novartis involved various roles in clinical development, particularly within pediatric rheumatology and transplantation. Alongside a robust career in pharmaceuticals, Alan founded Creative Waterscapes Inc., serving as President/CEO from January 1995 to January 2019, where expertise spanned design, project management, and customer relations. Alan holds a PharmD from Purdue University and a post-doctorate in Clinical Pharmacology from Rutgers University.
