Matt Cascino

Matt Cascino serves as the Vice President of Clinical Development at Ventyx Biosciences since October 2022. Prior to this role, Matt held positions at Amgen as Global Development Lead and Clinical Research Medical Director from August 2021 to October 2022, and at Genentech, where Matt progressed through various roles including Lead Medical Director and Medical Director from July 2015 to August 2021. Matt's medical training includes a Rheumatology Fellowship at UCSF, where Matt also served as Chief Resident during the Internal Medicine Residency from June 2010 to September 2016. Educationally, Matt holds a Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Minnesota Medical School and has degrees in Biochemistry and Music Theory and Composition from Northwestern University, along with advanced training in Clinical Research, Epidemiology, and Biostatistics from UCSF.
